Manager of AS Roma, Jose Mourinho, said that he promised his play Felix Afena-Gyan a new pair of shoes, before their win over Genoa on Sunday.
The manager also said the Ghana midfielder is not going to be playing for their youth side anymore.
On his 3rd professional appearance, the 18-year-old, who came on in the 75th minute, scored two incredible goals in the Serie A fixture.
“I promised him that if he scored I would buy him a pair of shoes that he really likes, that cost 800 euros.
“So he came over to me and told me not to forget that! Tomorrow morning I will go and buy them.
“Then tomorrow after the Primavera [youth side] will be playing – and I’m sorry for Alberto De Rossi but Felix won’t be playing with them,” Mourinho said after the game.
