Nigerian
forward Kelechi Iheanacho is weighing several offers as he makes his next
transfer, according to Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta.
After
joining Sevilla on a free transfer last summer, the 28-year-old striker has had
a difficult time making an impression in his six months there. Sevilla is
considering both loan and permanent transfer possibilities because Iheanacho
has not scored in nine La Liga games.
According to
reports, clubs in England, Greece, France, and Turkey have extended offers to
Iheanacho.
Pimienta
said the player has complete control over the decision during a press
conference held prior to Sevilla's La Liga matchup with Getafe.
"He is
weighing his options and is considering a lot of offers.
He has absolute freedom to decide. He will be
called up but he has to decide which is his best option,” Pimienta said.
